Why Greenlight Mind exists
Hi, I'm Katie — a BABCP and BACP accredited CBT therapist and counsellor with over 15 years of experience, and the founder of Greenlight Therapy in Birmingham.
I created Greenlight Mind because I kept noticing a gap.
People on GLP-1 medications were getting excellent medical support for the physical side of their journey. But the psychological dimension — the identity shifts, the complicated feelings, the grief, the anxiety about what happens next — was going largely unaddressed.
Prescribing clinics don't have the time, and generic mental health content doesn't speak to this experience specifically.
Greenlight Mind is my attempt to close that gap. Not with watered-down advice, but with proper CBT-based tools made accessible — whether or not you're ready for therapy.
Because you deserve support that sees the whole of you. Not just the number on the scale.
